EDIT: ALRIGHT so I changed snowbird around quite a bit ass well, let me know what you guys think! He has a lot more to his history now and his personality is updated to match.

also changed up some history with his mother due to the restricted age of her giving birth. Pretty much the same though!

Name Meaning: Snow was the prefix given by his mother due to his fluffy white pelt he had. The suffix bird, was granted for his grace, and his ability to jump and climb as if he could fly.

Other scars are not visible through his fur, and Snowbird goes through a meticulous effort to hide scars, he does not like flaws. Snowbird is a very elegant cat, every move he makes seems to flow effortlessly.

Snowbird will never break his word, and follows and enforces the warrior code down to the letter. He is devoted to served his clan as a whole, and strongly believes in the hierarchy of cats, never swaying from his leaders orders. If you gain Snowbird as an ally, you have him for life. However this also can make him hesitant when it comes to assisting cats from other clans, unless they are a kit, he will treat you as the enemy unless ordered otherwise. He believes in the protection of ones own clan, and others should not be assisted, especially if it hinders the clan in anyway. Snowbird is very selectively submissive, and will act dominant around those younger and of lower statues than him and submissive to those of older and higher statues. Such as deputies, leaders, medicine cats, and senior warriors.

Snowbird does not have a temper, even in battle he is level headed, calm and collected. If he gets into an argument with a cat, he retains a level tone, using reason, assertion, or simply dismisses the cat if he believes them not worth his energy. He rarely raises his voice unless he needs to be heard, and can deal with difficult situations calmly. Often leading Snowbird to be the voice of reason in otherwise chaotic situations.

Snowbird also is not afraid to speak up if he believes wrong is being done in a situation, especially when it comes to those of lower statues than him. If it is a cat of higher statues however, he believes is doing wrong, he may voice his distain but follow his orders non the less.

This has led to his more intelligent personality, however he often does not consider the emotional values of cats, and will look for the best outcome for the clan as a whole. However heartless Snowbird may appear do to this, he would never end the life of a cat with his own paws unless it was absolutely necessary. He does not believe murder solves anything.

The way he walks, speaks, the constant grooming, fussing over appearances. Many mistake him at first glance as a she-cat, even after talking to him they have there doubts on his gender. But he will quickly assure you that he is a Tom, and while frustrating he dismisses claims at his femininity, and occasionally will even embrace his traits claiming that there is nothing wrong with grace.

He's not the most sympathetic cat around, he won't comfort. He has a heart, but it's frozen, and he strictly does what needs to be done. He won't refrain from punishment, he's not playful, and he's brutally honest. Well he does understand and will admit his actions may sometimes be hurtful, he will Often dismiss the emotional impact he could have on a cat. His actions when it comes to decision making can come of as brutal, even when some cats may agree it was the right ing to do at the time. He is polite, understands the need for respect and will acknowledge a cat who says hi with a curt nod or tail flick. However he isn't playful and lacks affection and friendliness toward most cats. Snowbirds also does not value blood relations, the role of brother or sister is earned, and if snowbird acknowledges you as such, then he thinks highly of you and values you as a friend.

He believes that all cats have the potential for perfection, and if they don't achieve this they simply are not trying hard enough. He has been very hard on himself during training, pushing himself to the point of breaking to be stronger, faster, and witted. Snowbird will readily be harsh on others as well, pointing out flaws and mistakes, even when positives may out weigh them. Many kits/apprentices fear receiving Snowbird as a mentor due to such criticality.

Biography

Before birth:

Snowkit was born too a Skyclan mother, from a Kitty-pet father. His Father was a purebred Turkish argona, by the name of Seth, and had taken a fancy to Snowkits mother, Maplesun. Maplesun was an only kit, she and her siblings born in a season of sickness, lead to the still birth of Warmkit, and moons later the death of Squirrelkit. Seth had come from a line of selective breeders, he was adopted by two-legs near the skyclan territory, living there for many moons however he had no knowledge of the clans that lived there prior to meeting Maplesun. Seth met her when she was hunting, and he believed her to be a beautiful she-cat, and the two courted shortly after. However at the time Maplesun was still a young, and foolish she-cat. She believed that her and Seth where in love. The Tom would talk her up, compliment her, tell her how beautiful and brave she was, and what lovely kits they would have. But during her pregnancy, Seth stopped meeting her. Maplesun managed to hide her pregnancy, however the young warrior began to feel alone and scared. The queens knew of Maplesun's pregnancy long before any other cat did and most welcomed her warmly when Maplesun was finally placed into the nursery. Questions of who the father was came up and for many moons Maplesun never spoke of him, many began to suspect another clan cat the way she would hide it. Due to her young age, and first birth, many feared of complications during kitting, and She soon gave birth to three toms. However one of the toms had been stillborn, he was named Silverkit before being buried. The other two she named Snowkit and Snakekit. This is when she finally began to speak of who the father really was, a kitty-pet Tom. When the kits where only a couple moons old, Maplesun went back to where she had first met Seth this time with her two kits, something inside her still holding on dearly to the fact that maybe he loved her. And to her surprise Seth had shown up. He praised the the kits, but here was a distinct disconnect from Maplesun, as if she where a stranger. Maplesun never returned.

Kit-hood

Snowkit was a mama's boy, unlike his more outgoing brother, he was content to cuddle with Maplesun and play with her tail all day long. He was shy, rarely opening his mouth, and often even hid away from his brother following his mother silently around he would often try and help her when she went to assist in the nursery, however a sparrow had an attention span better then Snowkits. He would often wander around following a butterfly or a leaf that blew past, this would often lead him to becoming lost within the camp, as Maplesun was an inexperienced she-cat with kits she easily became overwhelmed by the energy of her kits, not noticing him slip away, when distracted by snakekit or the other kits and queens within the nursery. When Snowkit became frightened he would find small nooks to hide in quietly hoping for his mother to find him, and to coax him with her gentle voice that it was alright. Snowkit was a gentle cat and was keen to follow rules, when he was paying attention, making sure that he did the best he could to please his mother and his peers.

Apprenticeship:

The day he became Snowpaw, he was terrified to leave his mother, claiming she still needed him to help her in the nursery. Maplesun managed to sooth Snowpaw, telling him that the clan needed his service now. Snowpaw took Maplesun's words to heart, and said he would try his very best to make her proud. Snowpaw began to gain his independence, and as the moons past he relied less on his mother for comfort and advice, his visits to her lessened. Although she new it was best for him, Maplesun still couldn't help feel saddened by Snowpaw's growing distance. During his training it was difficult for Snowpaw to retain his attention, mid lesson his mind would wander and he began to watch the birds overhead, wandering in the billowing wind. However Gingerbreeze, Snowpaws mentor, was an assertive cat, loud, and attention grabbing. She kept a keen eye on the young tom, getting right into his fur when Snowpaw dozed off, snapping at him about how he could possibly catch any prey if he was distracted by every leaf in the forest.

Many cats however still whispered over his kitty-pet origins, this used to sadden Snowpaw, and despite most accepting him as a skyclan cat no matter his orgins, he still whished he could have been a pure warrior. Especially after learning during full moon gathers how much the other clan valued pure warriors more than skyclan. But his mother was always honest about who his father was, telling Snowpaw of her brief and burning love toward the kitty-pet, how she was young and foolish but never regretted bringing him and his brother into the world.

Snowpaw began to develop a closer relationship with Gingerbreeze, one of his first friends during his time as an apprentice, as he gained more confidence, he would often run to the Warriors den to bug her about training or showing her something he learned. Which she would often swat the young apprentice away with lazy paws before finally giving in and getting up at the crack of dawn.

Snowpaw was eager to try and teach his fellow apprentices as well the things he learned. And his favourite lesson, climbing. The one thing he really excelled at. Snowpaw loved to climb, and when Gingerbreeze taught him to catch birds.

He was always lanky and awkward as a kit an early apprentice, but he soon began growing into his body. Snowpaw was becoming leaner and more lithe, his pelt began to smooth out from that kitten fluff, and he began paying more attention to his appearance, falling into a routine of grooming his soft white pelt every morning, which escalated into routine groomings. Gingerbreeze would scoff Everytime Snowpaw would groom after training sessions, saying he would simply get dirty again before sun fall. However, he was soon turning the heads of many she-cats. When he started getting approached and flirted with, Snowpaw was simply confused, and gave awkward thanks to the compliments, while his older friends would chuckle and tease him. He began to understand that the she-cats where flirting with him, some would shyly befriend him and he had a few 'dates' although they where fairly one sided as Snowpaw never really could return the feelings. These didn't last long and as Snowpaw got older he would politely reject she-cats who attempted to date him.

Then Snowpaw came to realize he had begun to develop feelings for a cat, however, it was a Tom, a Tom named Hollowpaw. He had always known the apprentice, and had admired Hollowpaw for his perseverance in training, up holding tradition and the warrior code. However it was his great surprise and fear when he realized he wanted more than just a friend ship from the Tom. How could Snowpaw up hold tradition if he didn't mate with a she-cat? Have kits and pass on his knowledge like a warrior should. It was wrong, he couldn't like a Tom. Snowpaw suppressed these feelings from his clan-mates, then began to hide them from himself. He hated lying, but he convinced himself that if he simply ignore the situation it wouldn't harm anyone.

And soon, at 12 moons Snowpaw was named a warrior.

Warrior-hood:

Snowbird, named after his grace, the way he seemed to glide as he jumped. As a warrior Snowbird still continued to struggle with his emotions toward toms, and came to accept he could never love a she-cat. With Snowbirds willingness to hide his emotions from others have made him come off as cold.

However he has decided to contribute to his clan in the best way he could, and he convinced others he did not desire a mate so that he could focus on dedicating his life to bettering Skyclan. Although he has always desired to have kin, snowbird wishes to instead pass his knowledge through his apprentices.
